Development of the monkey

In the development of the monkey, climbing is a necessary skill. This particular skill allows the young primate to get to the things that her parents have place high to keep out of her reach. It also aids in the destruction of the pretty things that the mother has carelessly left out. This skill is necessary for the entertainment of the older, more disciplined monkeys. The primate mothers often worry about their young at this stage as the risk for injury is high, but know that their young will master this skill and move on to another necessary life skill.
